Privacy

The short version

This is a personal portfolio. It sets no cookies, runs no advertising trackers, and loads its fonts from its own server. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not build a profile of you. The only information it collects is what you choose to send me through the contact form.

What the contact form collects

Your name, your email address, and your message. When you press send, those are emailed to me so I can reply. The website itself does not keep a copy.

Spam protection

To stop automated abuse, the form keeps a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) for up to one hour, then discards it. The spam trap field in the form is invisible to people and only catches bots.

Server logs

Like every website, the hosting provider records basic technical information for each visit, such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested, to keep the site running and secure. I don’t use those logs to identify or profile visitors.

Who else sees it

I don’t sell, rent, or share your information. It passes only through the services needed to deliver it: the web host and my email provider.

How long I keep it

Messages stay in my email for as long as they’re useful for the conversation. Ask me to delete yours and I will.

Your choices

You can ask what I have, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Reply to any email from me, send a note through the contact form, or call 860-266-0559.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
